Twenty years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the treasures of the Egyptian Museum and Papyrus Collection and the Museum of Prehistory and Early History have returned to their original location on the Museum Island. The Neues Museum, reconstructed with great sensitivity under the direction of David Chipperfield, creates a breathtaking setting for these unique collections. The tour presents highlights such as the world-famous bust of Nefertiti, papyri from Graeco-Roman Antiquity, Schliemann´s finds from Troy and the Bronze-Age Golden Hat.
